8c. Resolution Number 15-24UD: A Resolution of the Board of Directors of the City of Riviera Beach Utility Special District, Palm Beach County, Florida, authorizing the piggybacking of Florida Governmental Utility Authority (FGUA), agreement with U.S. Water Services Corporation to obtain professional utility operations and maintenance staffing support services due to the water system’s process reliability, procedural, maintenance and performance challenges which has impacted compliance readiness, aesthetic characteristics of product water and the ability to meet system demands without reliance on supplemental water supplies from neighboring utilities; approving a transfer of $500,000 from Contingency Account Number 41131102 559990 to Contract Services Account Number 41131102 534000; and a transfer of $500,000 from Contingency Account Number 41131103 559990 to Contract Services Account Number 41131103 534000 and authorizing the issuance of purchase order for a not to exceed amount of $1,126,113.00 and issuance of work authorizations to obtain professional staffing support services; authorizing the use of the FGUA agreement for the initial term ending September 30, 2024, including the five (5) year renewal option if exercised by FGUA; authorizing the Utility Special District Finance Director to make payments from Account Number 41131102 534000 and 41131103 534000; and providing an effective date.
